China: Chinese Tax Authorities will recently commence tax cleaning-up activities targeting incomes of QFIIs/RQFIIs

On 31st October, 2014, the Ministry of Finance, State Administration of Taxation (SAT) and China Securities Regulatory Commission jointly published Cai Shui [2014] No.79 (Circular 79) to clarify enterprise income tax (EIT) policy for capital gains with respect to QFIIs/RQFII. Cayman Islands: Cayman AEOI Portal Almost Open

The Cayman Islands Tax Information Authority (TIA) released its User Guide for the Cayman Islands Automatic Exchange of Information Portal (Portal) on 18 March 2015. Although there have been some press reports that the Portal is now open, it is not as at the date of this eAlert.
